Kent's 2024 Bonfire Night: Fireworks, Food and Fun!

Starting with Ashford Rugby Club's display, you can enjoy a pint of real ale and a hot snack from the food stalls before the fireworks begin. Or, perhaps you'd prefer to end the racing season at Brands Hatch with a bang, watching the fireworks after a day at the British Truck Racing Championship.

For those with little ones, Brenchley Memorial Hall and Copperfield Academy offer family-friendly displays, complete with colourful glow sticks, a children’s funfair, inflatables and food and drink stalls. Cornwallis Academy, one of Kent’s largest school fireworks displays, promises an evening of entertainment with live music, fairground rides, and a variety of food trucks.

If you're looking for a display set to music, Dunorlan Park in Tunbridge Wells offers a choreographed fireworks routine set to a great soundtrack. Edenbridge Recreation Ground hosts one of the biggest Bonfire Night events in the country, featuring a torchlit carnival procession, two 11-metre-tall effigies and a traditional fireworks display.

For a free event, Hextable Park near Swanley is a local favourite. In the past, their displays have been set to music from Disney films and the Greatest Showman. Leeds Castle hosts one of the county's biggest displays, complete with colourful fireworks, projections, lasers and music.

Lydden Hill in Wootton, near Dover, offers a thrilling day of supercar races followed by a 15-minute fireworks display. Maidstone Grammar School and Medway Yacht Club both offer traditional displays with food stalls and bars for the adults.

Paddock Wood Primary School kicks off their Bonfire Night with a set from local pop-rock band The Polygons, while the Racecourse Sports Ground in Tonbridge offers a fully choreographed production set to ‘80s and ‘90s anthems. Reuthe’s in Sevenoaks offers a miniature market, street food, and bars selling mulled wine and cider.

Finally, the Spitfire Ground St Lawrence in Canterbury hosts a sensational event with fairground rides, live music, and a spectacular display. And last but not least, Viking Bay in Broadstairs will be illuminated by a free fireworks display this autumn.

So, wrap up warm, grab a hot chocolate, and get ready to watch the skies light up with fantastic fireworks. Bonfire Night in Kent is back with a bang!
