From Monday, October 26, to Friday, November 3, the zoo will transform into a haunted haven filled with eerie attractions for all ages. Step inside the Haunted Heights lair and meet the zoo’s resident witches, Hocus and Pocus. The enchanting sugar skull witch will also be making appearances throughout the week, adding an extra touch of magic to your visit.
But it's not all about the scares. At the park’s discovery centre, visitors can learn all about the fascinating world of spiders. This educational feature provides a fun and engaging way for children to learn about these eight-legged creatures, adding an educational twist to the Halloween festivities.
Drusillas will also undergo a ghoulish makeover, offering frightful photo opportunities for all. Capture your best Halloween photo and enter the Shriek Week competition for a chance to win a family ticket for four.
No Halloween event would be complete without some terrifyingly tasty treats. The on-site restaurant will be serving a horrifying menu, filled with creepy cakes, biscuits, and doughnuts.
Assistant operations manager, Stuart Terry, spoke about the careful planning that goes into making Shriek Week a success. He said, "We take great care in planning events that are suitable for little ones, but still exciting for the rest of the family. Over the years we’ve perfected that family-friendly Halloween ambiance and invite visitors of all ages to enjoy a truly frightful visit."
So, if you're looking for a Halloween event that offers the perfect balance of thrills and frights for the whole family, then Drusillas' Shriek Week is the place to be. As Stuart said, "Well you know what they say... if you've got it, haunt it.”
Tickets can be booked on the park’s website, so secure your spot today and prepare for a spooktacular time!
